  14. Amazing is a series of screen savers where you experience a 
  15. variety of incredibly wonderful views in or not in the world.  
  16. It provides not only animations but also sound effects.  A 
  17. major difference between Amazing and other screen savers is that 
  18. Amazing is designed from the point of art - It is a life art! 
  19. In this park, Lakes, You will explore beautiful lakes in various
  20. styles. Enjoy it!

  23.  The SETUP.EXE will copy five files into your windows directory:
  24.  
  25.  az_lk.src  -- The main executable file of Amazing I - Lakes;
  26.  az_lk.txt  -- Documentation file;
  27.  
  28.  az_lk_0.bmp - 
  29.  az_lk_9.bmp -- animation images (required);
  30.  
  31.  az_lk_0.wav -- A WAV file for sound effects;
  32.  register.wav -- A WAV file for setup;
  33.  
  34.  saverv.exe -- Savervisor (see description below);
  35.  saverv.txt -- Documentation of Svervisor.
  36.  utility.dll -- A DLL used by Savervisor

  38.  Extra utility:

  40.  Savervisor (V2.0 - A) - This is a COOL screen saver and wall
  41. paper 
  42.  manager. It provides:
  43.  
  44.   -  It appears like an icon that allows you launch a screen
  45. saver
  46.      instantly by a single click at it using RIGHT mouse button. 
  47. It can
  48.      be set to always at the top to increase your accessibility.
  49.   -* It can illustrate all the screen savers in your Windows
  50. directory
  51.      in different styles(ONCE, CIRCLE, and RANDOM).
  52.   -  It also works as the saver section of Windows Desktop
  53.      allowing you select, setup, and test a screen saver within
  54. its 
  55.      setup screen.
  56.   -  It provides a very strong wall paper management capability.
  57.      First, it allows you select a BMP file as your wall paper
  58.      from anywhere of your file system including network and CD
  59.      drives and provides you a preview of the selected image.
  60.   -* Secondly, it can walk you through the entire file system
  61.      including network and CD drives.  That is, it displays all
  62.      the BMP files in your file system one after another as wall
  63.      paper - You can see exactly how the wall paper looks on your
  64.      screen instead of a single BMP image(specially, when tile is
  65.      set). You can choose from either automatic or clicking to
  66.      switch images when BMP is illustrated.
  67.   -  It also provides some other function such as tile setting.

  70.  Note: You can use all the functions provided by Savervisor up to
  71.    30 times - then you have to register if you still want to use
  72. it.  
  73.    There are two ways to register Savervisor:
  74.       1). After register Amazing - Lakes in Compuserve.  You can
  75. use
  76.           the Registration Code for Amazing - Lakes to register
  77.           both Amazing - Lakes and Savervisor. you will then
  78. receive 
  79.           limited functions provided by Savervisor.(The functions
  80.  
  81.           above marked with * are not available if you register
  82.           Savervisor with the Registration Code for Amazing.)
  83.       2). To enable its function completely you need to register
  84.           Savervisor using SWREG #4880 in Compuserv.

  86.  Why use Savervisor with Amazing?
  87.    There are at least two reasons to use Savervisor with Amazing:
  88.       1). Savervisor ebable you to launch Amazing instantly by a
  89.           single RIGHT mouse button click.
  90.       2). Savervisor provides a easy way to set the background
  91. pictures
  92.           of Amazing as your Wall Paper.
  93.  
  94.  Environment requirement: 
  95.     - At least 256 colors for display;
  96.     - VBRUN300.DLL;
  97.     - A sound card is recommended;

  100. TroubleShooting:
  101.     -  Q: I have a multimedia system, with .WAV capability, and
  102. in fact, 
  103.           I hear .WAV files with most every application.  
  104.           Why can I NOT hear sounds with your screen saver?  
  105.           (The Sounds option is grayed out, and I cannot check
  106. it.)
  107.        A: The Saver disables Sound option if it does not detect a
  108.           sound device that it knows. You can enforce it accepts
  109.           you sound system by following steps:
  110.               1). disable (turn off) the saver;
  111.               2). open (double click at icon of) file
  112. c:\windows\az_lk.ini
  113.                   (assuming c:\windows is your Windows directory)
  114. in
  115.                   your windows File Manager;
  116.               3). change 
  117.                       EnforceSoundOn= 0
  118.                   into
  119.                       EnforceSoundOn= 1
  120.               4). save and close the file;       
  121.               5.) bring up the setup screen of the saver;
  122.               6). check (enable) field "Sound On";
  123.               7). click at OK to exit the setup screen of the
  124.                   saver;

  127. How to register:
  128. ================
  129.  You can register Amazing - Lakes in Compuserv using SWREG #4796:
  130.  Just GO SWREG and use 4796 to register.  After you register
  131.  in Compuserv, I will EMail you the Registration Code.  You can
  132.  then key it into the Registration Code field of the Registration
  133.  screen in setups of Amazing - Lakes and Savervisor.

  136. If you can not access to Compuserv, you can mail a $19 
  137. (U.S. Dollar) check or money order to
